Thoughts on the Capricorn New Moon. Additional thoughts below as I hadn’t thought about the symbolism of love in the chart. The video version is below, as is a copy of the chart.
Love
I found the image of the young girl praying that’s on the cover image after I recorded the video. It feels like a perfect match for the energies in the chart. It highlights, in particular, something I didn’t talk about - love. Pisces, Venus and Taurus all symbolize love. Taurus and the Taurus side of Venus represent loving relationship with ourselves and Pisces represents the ocean of love. Saturn in Pisces symbolizes the reality that we are surrounded by Love.
Libra, where the South Node is, also symbolizes love. This is love as it expresses in relationship with others. To truly love another, to be able to maintain healthy, balanced relationships, we must first learn to love ourselves and to establish the practices that cultivate this kind of self-relationship. Co-dependence, perhaps, can be defined as a practice of loving another before we have learned to love ourselves and before we have established the practices of loving ourselves.
So, we are being challenged to love ourselves and to let go of what is contrary to that and, in so doing, bringing our relationships - with ourselves and others - into balance. Or, perhaps it is better to say allowing our relationships to come back into their natural balance.
